COMAN T1A40 4-Section Carbon Fiber Snap Tripod · Hydraulic Ball Head · 20kg load · 169cm

Coman T1A40 4-Section Carbon Fiber Snap Tripod 169cm with Hydraulic Ball Head — 4-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod, One-Button Deployment in 1 Second, 169 cm Tall, 20 kg Load, Dual Panoramic Hydraulic Ball Head, Only 2.96 kg

The Coman T1A40 is a 4-section carbon fiber tripod for professional photo and video work. Its standout feature is the Snap-Open system: press one button and the legs deploy in 1 second, with no need to unlock each section, so you are ready to shoot in any situation. An Anti-Pinch design keeps fast setup and pack-down safe. The Dual Panoramic hydraulic ball head is oil-damped for both horizontal and vertical panning, giving smooth, soft movement for video, live streaming and pro stills. The 3K twill carbon fiber and aluminum alloy build is strong, resists vibration and lasts, yet weighs only 2.96 kg. It carries 20 kg, enough for DSLR, mirrorless, cinema rigs and large telephoto lenses. It extends to 169 cm for eye-level work and folds to 650 mm, small enough for a suitcase. The legs offer 3 angle positions and the center column removes without tools, so you can switch instantly between low, mid and high angles, and go extra low with the column removed. 1/4" threaded ports and ARRI positioning let you mount a monitor, LED light and mic all on one tripod.

FAQ

• Q: How is Snap-Open different from twist locks or flip locks?
A: Twist locks must be loosened one section at a time, and flip locks opened one by one. With Snap-Open, one button extends the whole set of legs in 1 second, a big difference when you need to set up in time for the shot.
• Q: How does a hydraulic ball head differ from a standard ball head?
A: With a standard ball head the camera moves freely as soon as you unlock it, which is hard to control for video. A hydraulic head is oil-damped, so pans and tilts are slow and even, giving smoother footage.
• Q: What can I do with the center column removed?
A: You can shoot at ground level, since there is no column stopping the legs from spreading fully. The box also includes 2 center columns, one long and one short.
