Megadap ETZ21 Pro+ Sony E to Nikon Z Autofocus Adapter Weather Sealed

Megadap ETZ21 Pro+ Sony E to Nikon Z Autofocus Adapter Weather Sealed — Use Sony E lenses on Nikon Z cameras with true autofocus, sealed against splashes and dust, supports Z8 Z9 Zf Z6III and RED Z-mount

The Megadap ETZ21 Pro+ is a mount adapter that lets you use Sony E lenses on Nikon Z bodies with true autofocus, not just a mount conversion that leaves you focusing by hand. It drives the AF of Sony lenses on Nikon cameras, passes lens data and controls aperture from the camera. The highlight of the Pro+ is its weather-sealed construction against splashes and dust, so you can take it on outdoor shoots, documentaries or beach weddings with more confidence than a typical adapter. A redesigned lens release button makes mounting and unmounting smoother and more secure than the previous model, with less stiffness when you need to swap lenses quickly on set. Newly plated signal contacts withstand wear from frequent lens changes for longer. With manual lenses you still get Focus Confirmation from the camera, and the Custom buttons on Sony lenses can be set to work with Nikon Z cameras. You can also chain it with the Sony LA-EA5 to use select Sony A-mount lenses on Nikon Z bodies. Works with both Nikon Z series cameras and Z-mount RED cinema cameras.

FAQ

• Q: Does autofocus work with every lens?
A: It mainly supports Sony E lenses with built-in focus motors. Speed and accuracy depend on the specific lens and body, so we recommend testing with the lenses you plan to use before important jobs.
• Q: How does the Weather Sealed version differ from the standard model?
A: The Pro+ adds seals against splashes and dust, making it better suited to outdoor work where dust can get onto the contacts of a typical adapter.
• Q: Can I use Sony A-mount lenses?
A: Yes, by chaining it with the Sony LA-EA5, but only select A-mount lenses are supported. Check your lens against the LA-EA5 compatibility list first.
• Q: How do I update the firmware?
A: Megadap releases new firmware periodically to support new lenses and bodies. Check the Megadap website regularly and update following the instructions in the manual.
