The Blazar Beetle 45mm T3.2 is a compact full frame anamorphic lens with a 1.33x squeeze that delivers a widescreen cinematic look, silver flares and distinctive oval bokeh. Its standout feature is a built-in 90° lens rotation mechanism, so you can switch to vertical content for social media right away. At around 286 g it is easy to hand-hold or mount on a gimbal. Available in E / RF / Z / L mounts, it attaches directly to the camera with no adapter required.

A: You need to de-squeeze the footage along the squeezed axis by 1.33x. This can be done in editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro, and many cameras also have a de-squeeze function for viewing the image while shooting.

Q: Can it be used with APS-C cameras?
A: Yes, as long as the camera uses the same mount, but the field of view will be narrower according to the sensor's crop factor.
