BLAZAR Sentinel 35-60mm is a 1.33X anamorphic zoom lens that fully covers a full-frame sensor, delivering a cinematic widescreen image, oval bokeh and the signature horizontal flares of anamorphic. A single lens covers the 35–60mm range, so you do not need to change lenses often. The aluminum body weighs only 970g and is available in 3 mounts: Sony E, Leica L and Canon RF. It comes with a 1-year Thai service center warranty.

1.33X Anamorphic Squeeze — Gives a widescreen look, oval bokeh and anamorphic flares in a single lens. When shot on a 16:9 sensor and de-squeezed, the image is about 2.37:1 wide, close to the cinema screen ratio

Continuous 35–60mm zoom — Covers wide angle through standard focal lengths. After de-squeezing, the horizontal field of view is equivalent to an ordinary lens of about 26–45mm, suited to Narrative, Music Video, documentary and Street work

Q: How is Anamorphic 1.33X different from 1.6X or 2X?
A: 1.33X squeezes the image less, so it suits the 16:9 sensors of ordinary Mirrorless cameras. You get a widescreen image without much cropping, and it is easy to de-squeeze in editing software.

Q: Why is the aperture T2.2–T2.8?
A: This is a Variable Aperture lens: the widest aperture is T2.2 at 35mm and T2.8 at 60mm. The numbers on the aperture ring are calibrated at 35mm, and at other focal lengths they should be used as a reference.
