FAQ
-
Q: How does the Fill Light Bundle differ from the Standard Bundle?
A: It adds the Luna Pro Mini Fill Light and a Black Mist Filter. The light attaches to the camera magnetically and keeps faces bright and natural-looking in low light.
-
Q: Does the fill light work with Luna Ultra?
A: Insta360 lists the Mini Fill Light in this bundle as compatible with Luna Pro.
-
Q: What is the difference between Luna Pro and Luna Ultra?
A: Both share the same 1-inch main sensor and Leica 20mm f/1.8 main lens. Luna Ultra adds a 60mm telephoto camera (1/1.3-inch sensor) for 6x lossless zoom. Luna Pro has a single lens, is shorter and lighter (215 g vs 233 g), is the better-value option, and records native 4K30 vertical video (Luna Ultra vertical tops out at 3K60).
-
Q: What can the detached screen do?
A: It works as a wireless remote for viewing and controlling the camera from a distance, and as a wearable wireless microphone. Ideal when filming yourself.
-
Q: Do I need to buy a memory card?
A: Not necessarily. The camera has 47GB of internal storage, but for 8K or long recordings a microSD card is recommended (Insta360 recommends Lexar and SanDisk, up to 2TB supported).
-
Q: Is it waterproof?
A: No. It is not waterproof, splash-proof or dustproof. Avoid using it in the rain or near water.
-
Q: How long does it last per charge?
A: Up to approx. 4 hours (tested at 1080p24 with screen and Wi-Fi off). Real-world runtime is shorter at high resolutions or with the screen on. A 15V/3A adapter charges to 80% in approx. 23 minutes.
