  A: Take the thread size on the front of the lens as the first number, then choose the filter size you want as the second. For example, with a 52mm lens and a 58mm filter, use the 52-55 ring stacked with the 55-58 ring.
• Q: Why a Step Up and not a Step Down?
  A: A Step Up lets you use a filter larger than the front of the lens, so there is no vignetting. A Step Down makes the filter smaller than the front of the lens, which will definitely cause vignetting.
• Q: Can I use a lens hood with the rings?
  A: The lens's original hood cannot be attached, because the rings cover the thread. If you need a hood, find one that matches the size of the outermost filter.
