Meike MF 6.5mm F2.0 APS-C Ultra Wide Circular Fisheye Lens — APS-C Fisheye with 190° View, Circular Image, F2.0 Aperture, Metal Body, Fully Manual

The Meike MF 6.5mm F2.0 is a circular fisheye lens designed to create distinctive images on APS-C mirrorless cameras. With a wide F2.0 aperture and a 190-degree field of view, it is ideal for photography that needs to stand out, such as landscapes from unusual perspectives, sky shots, or shooting in tight spaces. The lens projects a circular image onto the sensor, giving a look that sets it apart from typical fisheye lenses. The especially wide F2.0 aperture performs very well in low light, such as for stars or dim interiors. Its optical design of 8 elements in 5 groups uses multi-coating to reduce reflections and flare. Focus and aperture are fully manual, and the lens body is made from high-quality metal, sturdy yet easy to carry.

FAQ

Q: How is a Circular Fisheye different from a regular fisheye?
A: A Circular Fisheye produces a round image in the center of the frame with black edges around it, while a Diagonal Fisheye fills the frame but curves at the corners. This lens gives a more distinctive look.

Q: Can I use a front filter?
A: No. The front element is strongly convex, as is natural for a 190° fisheye, so there is no filter thread.

Q: Is it good for shooting stars?
A: Yes. The 190° view captures almost the entire sky, and F2.0 gathers plenty of light, allowing shorter shutter speeds that reduce star trailing.
