NiSi AIR UV Filter · Black Brass Frame · 99.9% Peak Transmission · 48-Layer ULRC Coating

NiSi AIR UV Filter — Black-Frame UV Filter, Up to 99.9% Transmission, 48-Layer ULRC Coating for a Clear, Filter-Free Look

NiSi AIR UV Filter A UV filter for protecting your lens front, designed to look as clear as shooting without a filter. Peak transmission is 99.9% with an average of 99.6% across 420–680 nm, and reflection is only 0.1%. The 48-layer nano ULRC (Ultra Low Reflective Coating) reduces reflections and glare, and it can be used on cameras and lenses above 100 megapixels without losing sharpness. It cuts UV light below 395 nm to reduce haze, and the coating resists scratches, stains, water and oil. The ultra-slim black brass frame has a knurled edge for easy grip and causes no vignetting on ultra-wide lenses. Available in 17 sizes from 37mm to 105mm. Official Thai Warranty

Key Features

• Up to 99.9% transmission — Averages 99.6% across 420–680 nm, so image color and brightness are virtually the same as without a filter
• Supports cameras above 100MP — Optical glass of the same grade used in lenses for sharpness to the edges
• 48-layer ULRC coating — Only 0.1% reflection, reducing reflections and glare on the filter surface
• Cuts UV light below 395 nm — Helps reduce blue haze and UV-related image artifacts
• Durable coating — Resists scratches, stains, water and oil, and wipes clean easily
• Ultra-slim black brass frame — Brass is strong and resists deformation better than aluminum, and the slim frame avoids vignetting on ultra-wide lenses
• Knurled edge for easy grip — Easy to screw on and remove
• Every filter tested — Transmission and reflection are measured with a Shimadzu Spectrophotometer before leaving the factory

Choose the size that matches your lens

How to check the size: look for the number after the ø symbol on the front of the lens or inside the front lens cap. For example, ø67 means a 67mm filter

FAQ

• Q: How do I choose the right size?
A: Check the number after the ø symbol on the front of the lens or inside the lens cap, then choose the matching size. For example, a ø77 lens takes a 77mm filter.
• Q: Will it degrade image quality?
A: With up to 99.9% light transmission and only 0.1% reflectivity, NiSi designed it for cameras and lenses over 100MP, so images look virtually the same as without a filter.
• Q: Do digital cameras still need a UV filter?
A: The main benefit is protecting the front element from scratches, dust, water spray and fingerprints. Replacing a filter costs far less than repairing a lens, and it also helps reduce haze in landscape shots.
• Q: Will it vignette on ultra-wide lenses?
A: The frame is ultra-slim, and NiSi states it causes no vignetting on ultra-wide lenses. Stacking several filters on a wide-angle lens may start to show vignetting, however.
• Q: Why a brass frame?
A: Brass is strong and durable, resists warping better than aluminum frames, and screws on and off smoothly with frequent use.
