PDMOVIE Lens Focus Gear Ring 0.8 MOD for 42-84mm Lenses

PDMOVIE Lens Focus Gear Ring 0.8 MOD for 42-84mm Lenses — A rubber focus gear in 0.8 MOD that fits 42–84mm lenses, goes on and off quickly with no nuts, and lets an ordinary lens work with a Follow Focus

PDMOVIE Lens Focus Gear Ring is a standard 0.8 MOD focus gear that slips around the focus or zoom ring of a lens so it can be used with a Follow Focus and focus motors. It supports lens diameters of 42–84mm, so one ring can be swapped between several lenses. It goes on and off quickly without nuts or a screwdriver. The back gear locks itself so the ring stays in place and does not loosen during use. It is made of highly flexible rubber with just the right hardness, turns smoothly without skipping teeth, and has a Self-Limiting design suited to lenses with no Hard Stop.

Key Features

• Fits lenses 42–84mm wide — covers most of the lenses in your bag, and one ring can be swapped between several of them

FAQ

• Q: What can 0.8 MOD be used with?
A: It is the standard gear tooth size in the film industry, and works with the Follow Focus units and focus motors of almost every brand.
• Q: Can it be fitted to a lens with a narrow ring?
A: Yes. The gear is made of rubber, so it can be fitted even on a short focus ring, and the Self-Limiting design helps keep it from turning past the stopping point.
