Peak Design Travel Backpack 30L is the smaller sibling of the Travel Backpack 45L, a travel backpack with adjustable capacity from 27 to 33 liters. It suits short 1-3 day trips with a single bag, or everyday use for work and city outings. Its size meets international airline carry-on limits, and it keeps clothes, shoes, a laptop and gear organized and secure.

• Adjustable capacity 27 / 30 / 33 liters – Side expansion zippers increase capacity to 33L and compression straps reduce it to 27L. Carry-on size in both configurations.
• 400D recycled nylon, weatherproof – DWR-coated fabric repels light spray and drizzle.
• 900D waterproof fabric base – Thicker and tougher than the rest of the bag, so you can set it down on wet or rough ground with confidence.
• Lockable weatherproof UltraZip zippers – Abrasion-resistant thread and zipper pulls designed to be hard to open, reducing the risk of pickpocketing.
• Full-width rear opening – Pack and unpack as easily as a suitcase, with a separate top section that has zip pockets and a stretch pocket for keys, glasses and a passport.
• 16-inch laptop compartment and separate tablet pocket – Padded for shock protection, fits a MacBook Pro 14" / 16".
• Stowable shoulder straps – Tuck the shoulder straps into the back panel and carry the bag by the handle, or check it under the plane without straps snagging.
• Luggage pass-through – Slides over the handle of a rolling suitcase, reducing the weight on your shoulders while walking through the airport.

Specifications

Note: The 30L model has no built-in hip belt (an optional Hip Belt is sold separately) and no internal divider like the 45L model. If you need to carry a lot of camera gear, we recommend the Travel Backpack 45L.
