Sigma AF Cine 28-45mm T2 FF is the first full-frame cine zoom in the AF Cine Line series and Sigma's first cine lens with autofocus. It uses the optics of the popular 28-45mm F1.8 DG DN | Art with completely redesigned mechanics to make a true cine lens: T2–T16 aperture, 11-blade diaphragm, three 0.8 MOD gears and an HLA motor for fast, quiet focusing. Ideal for filmmaking, documentaries, music videos and gimbal work that needs both AF and a cine-lens feel. Available in both Sony E-Mount and L-Mount Official Thai Warranty, 3 years

FAQ

Q: How is it different from the Sigma 28-45mm F1.8 DG DN | Art?
A: It uses the same optical design, but the AF Cine has completely redesigned cine mechanics: T-stop scale, three 0.8 MOD gears, a de-clicked iris ring, a 200° focus ring with distance scale and a 95mm front for matte boxes.

Q: Can it be used on Super 35 / APS-C cameras?
A: Yes. The lens covers both Full Frame and Super 35; on Super 35 the angle of view is approx. 47.9–30.9°.

Q: Can I fit a matte box right away?
A: The front diameter is 95mm, but fitting a standard clamp-on matte box requires the Clamp-on Ring COR-21 (sold separately). Screw-in filters use the 82mm thread directly.

Q: Can I use AF together with manual focus?
A: Yes. Sony E-Mount supports DMF and AF Assist, and L-Mount supports AF+MF. You can also switch to MF on the lens to pull focus with a follow focus.
