The filters are optical glass with multi-layer nano coating and attach to the mount magnetically for instant on and off. The mount is shaped to fit each model's camera module and serves as both a filter base and everyday lens protection. Works on a bare phone and with most cases that have a wide camera cutout. FAQ

• Q: Are the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max versions interchangeable?
A: No. Each mount is shaped to fit its model's camera module and the sizes differ (Pro is 61.6 mm wide / Pro Max is 67.6 mm wide). Please choose the one that matches your phone.
• Q: Can I stack filters?
A: Yes, but with the 0.5x ultra-wide lens, avoid stacking more than 2. If you see dark corners (Vignetting), reposition the filter.
• Q: Which ND strength should I use?
A: ND2–ND4 for soft sunlight or bright shade, ND8–ND16 for general outdoor use, and ND32 for harsh sunlight or daytime Long Exposure shots.
• Q: How strong is the magnetic hold?
A: It holds securely for general shooting, but it is not a mechanical lock. SmallRig advises against using it in heavy vibration or strong wind, such as cycling, in a car phone holder, or on high-speed rides.
• Q: Does it work with a case?
A: Yes, with most cases that have a wide camera cutout. If your case has a raised lip around the camera or a narrow cutout, the mount may not fit. Message us with your case model.
• Q: What do the color options refer to?
A: The color of the aluminum mount and frame. The filters in the kit are the same for all colors.
