SmallRig 6779 HawkLock Handheld Cage Kit with V-Mount Plate for Sony FX5

A camera cage kit made specifically for the Sony FX5, with the cage, Top Handle, NATO Rail and V-Mount Battery Plate all in one box. It protects the camera body, adds mounting points, and powers the camera from a V-Mount battery for long continuous shoots. The HawkLock quick release system lets you assemble or remove the rig in seconds.

Key Features

V-Mount Battery Plate included — attach or swap batteries quickly; the plate folds away for easy carrying and provides power for longer shooting, so you do not have to stop the shoot because the camera battery ran out
All-around body protection — the U-shaped cage wraps the camera frame, with pads at the contact points to reduce the risk of knocks during transport and location shoots
Secure Anti-Twist mounting — every module locks at two or more points, so the camera and rig act as one piece without wobbling during handheld shooting
Plenty of mounting points for a full system — 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 holes, ARRI holes, a NATO Rail, an Arca-Swiss plate and a QD socket for monitors, microphones, lights and professional accessories
Enclosed Top Handle — a secure grip for both normal handheld and low-angle shots close to the ground
Modular, quick setup — split into a Top Plate and a U-shaped cage to configure for each scene; remove the Top Plate when using the Sony XLR Handle or EVF
HawkLock Quick Release System — SmallRig's signature quick release system for assembling or removing the rig in seconds
Magnetic wrench stored in the cage — ready to use right away without carrying extra tools
