FAQ

• Q: Which option should I buy?
A: If you have no accessories yet, choose the kit with both cable and bracket. If you will use an existing articulating arm or 15mm rod, the cable alone is enough. The bracket alone suits those who already have an extension cable.
• Q: Does it only work with Tilta cages?
A: The bracket is designed to attach to the left NATO rail of the Tilta Camera Cage for Sony FX5, but works with other cages or rigs that have a NATO rail. The extension cable has a built-in NATO rail and threads for attaching to a variety of accessories.
• Q: Does the cable work with other cameras?
A: The extension cable is designed specifically for the Sony FX5 and DVF-EL1 viewfinder and should not be used with other cameras. The bracket works with NATO rails and 15mm rod accessories in general.
• Q: Can it attach to an arm or 15mm rod?
A: Yes. The EVF end of the cable has a 1/4"-20 thread and a 15mm rod clamp for use with a Tilta Pro Articulating Arm or 15mm rod to position the viewfinder where you want it.
• Q: Does it work with the FX5 XLR Handle Unit?
A: This set currently does not work with the XLR Handle Unit. Tilta says an adapter for use with it is in development.
