The Tilta Full Camera Cage V2 for Sony FX3 and FX30 uses a modular design: the top module can be removed to turn it into a Half Cage and cut weight for gimbal work. The baseplate is a DJI-standard Arca-Swiss plate, so you can switch quickly from a tripod to a DJI gimbal without buying an extra plate. Mounting options are plentiful, with a NATO rail on the top plate, 2 cold shoe positions, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with anti-twist locating pins, and a single rod holder mount. The camera is secured at 3 points — left, right and bottom — for a tighter fit between body and cage, reducing twisting or wobble when a follow focus motor is attached. Tailored specifically to the FX3 and FX30, it leaves the ports, tally light, battery door and flip screen accessible without removing the cage. A thumb-screw cable clamp keeps the HDMI cable from pulling out and is easy to install. The top module is compatible with Sony's original XLR handle.
