Tilta Power Kit for Sony FX5 with V-Mount Battery Plate and 180° Swivel — Cage and V-Mount power system for Sony FX5 with a 180° swivel battery plate and simultaneous P-Tap, USB-C and 2-Pin LEMO outputs

The Tilta Power Kit for Sony FX5 combines a camera cage and a V-Mount power system in one kit. It is shaped specifically for the FX5 body for a snug, shift-free fit that leaves buttons and ports unobstructed. The modular design lets you remove or add parts as the job requires, so one kit can run as a minimal handheld setup or a full rig, and you can keep using the FX5's original XLR Top Handle instead of removing it to fit the cage. The highlight is power from a high-capacity V-Mount battery that feeds both the camera and accessories, reducing the risk of the camera battery dying mid-take. The battery plate swivels up to 180° (Adjustable Swivel), so you can angle it away from your body or the tripod, or shift weight to balance the rig for your shooting style. Three power output types, P-Tap, USB-C and 2-Pin LEMO, let you power a monitor, LED lights, a wireless video system and the camera at the same time from a single source. Cinema-style matte black finish that does not reflect light on set.

FAQ

• Q: How is V-Mount better than the camera battery?
A: A V-Mount battery has several times the capacity of a camera battery and can power other accessories at the same time, so you can shoot continuously for longer without stopping mid-take to swap batteries.
• Q: What are the three power outputs used for?
A: P-Tap is the industry standard for monitors and LED lights · USB-C is for modern devices and charging phones · 2-Pin LEMO is for cinema-grade gear such as wireless video systems.
• Q: What is the benefit of a 180° battery swivel?
A: You can rotate it away from your body when shoulder shooting, away from the tripod when mounted, or shift the center of gravity to balance the rig for more comfortable handling.
