ZhongYi Mitakon Speedmaster 80mm F1.6 — Fast medium format lens for Fujifilm GFX and Hasselblad XCD

ZhongYi Mitakon Speedmaster 80mm F1.6 is a manual-focus prime for medium format cameras in Fujifilm GFX (G Mount) and Hasselblad XCD mounts, giving a field of view of about 63mm in full-frame terms. It suits portraits, street and general shooting. The maximum F1.6 aperture helps in low light and clearly separates subjects from the background. 10 elements in 6 groups, 9-blade aperture, and a metal body with a built-in retractable hood. Available here in 2 mounts: Fujifilm GFX and Hasselblad XCD. 1-year Official Thai Warranty.

Key Features

• Wide F1.6 aperture — Gathers plenty of light for indoor or night shooting and renders strong background blur on a medium format sensor
• Designed for medium format sensors — Natively covers Fujifilm GFX and Hasselblad XCD sensors, no adapter needed
• 10 elements in 6 groups — 4 HRI (High Refractive Index) elements and 1 UD (Ultra-low Dispersion) element reduce chromatic aberration for sharp images and clean color
• Rounded 9-blade aperture — Round, soft bokeh and smooth backgrounds that make the subject stand out
• Manual focus — Precise manual focusing, easy to pair with Focus Peaking or on-screen magnification
• Metal body — Sturdy and durable for frequent use
• Built-in Retractable Hood — Blocks light that causes flare and ghosting, with no separate hood to carry
• 0.5 m minimum focus distance — Shoot half-body portraits or close details, with 0.26x maximum magnification
• 77mm filter thread — Works with standard-size ND or CPL filters, useful when shooting at F1.6 in bright sun

FAQ

• Q: Does this lens have autofocus?
A: No. It is a fully manual-focus lens; focus and aperture are set on the lens.
• Q: Which mount should I choose?
A: Choose based on your camera. For Fujifilm GFX choose the GFX (G Mount) version; for Hasselblad X2D, X1D or 907X choose the XCD version. The two mounts are not interchangeable.
• Q: Can it be used on full-frame or APS-C cameras?
A: Not directly. This lens is made only in Fujifilm G and Hasselblad XCD mounts for medium format cameras.
• Q: The shutter won't release with the lens attached. What should I set?
A: On Fujifilm GFX, set Shoot Without Lens to ON, then enable Focus Peaking or use magnification to help focus. On Hasselblad, check your camera manual for the menu that allows shooting with lenses that have no electronic contacts.
• Q: What is the full-frame equivalent field of view?
A: About 63mm on full frame, between a standard lens and a short portrait lens.
