FAQ

• Q: How does this kit differ from the standalone ZDM-1?
A: The Podcast Mic Pack adds ZHP-1 headphones, a TPS-4 desktop stand and a 2 m XLR cable, so you can plug in and start right away. The standalone ZDM-1 comes with the mic, windscreen, pivoting mic stand mount and thread adapter (no headphones, stand or XLR cable).
• Q: Can it connect to a computer via USB?
A: Not directly. The ZDM-1 mic uses an XLR connector, so it needs an audio interface, mixer or recorder with an XLR input, such as the Zoom PodTrak P4 / P8.
• Q: Does it need phantom power?
A: No. The ZDM-1 is a dynamic microphone and works without phantom power.
• Q: What devices do the ZHP-1 headphones work with?
A: They use a 3.5 mm stereo mini jack, so they work with Zoom PodTrak recorders, smartphones, computers and any device with a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
