Atomos Sumo 19SE — 19-inch HDR Monitor, Recorder and Switcher in One Unit

The Atomos Sumo 19SE is a 19-inch HDR monitor with 1200 nit brightness that works as a monitor, recorder and switcher in one unit. It records ProRes RAW up to 6Kp30, and can switch and record up to 4 cameras separately. It is suited to film sets and live production.

FAQ

Q: Can it record ProRes RAW over HDMI?
A: No. The Sumo 19SE accepts RAW over SDI only. Over HDMI it records ProRes or DNxHR up to 4Kp60.
Q: Can it switch multiple cameras that have no Genlock?
A: Yes. Switching is asynchronous, so the cameras do not need Genlock or Timecode lock.
Q: Can it run on batteries?
A: Yes. Use V-Lock or Gold Mount batteries through the BattWing supplied in the box. Batteries of 95Wh or larger are recommended.
