The SIRUI IronStar 100mm T2.8 is a 1.5x anamorphic medium telephoto lens for full-frame cameras. Its 100mm focal length gives a horizontal equivalent of about 66mm, making it well suited to portraits, video and filmmaking. Its standout feature is a minimum focus distance of just 0.3 m, breaking the usual limits of anamorphic lenses and enabling true anamorphic macro work for food, jewelry and product commercials. The constant 1.5x squeeze turns 16:9 footage into a ratio close to 2.4:1 after de-squeeze. A T2.8 aperture delivers oval bokeh and anamorphic flare, available in Blue Flare or Neutral Flare. It features 19 elements, 16 aperture blades, cinema-grade glass (ED / Aspherical / HRI), very low focus breathing, 0.8 MOD gears, a 270° focus throw and user-swappable PL and Canon EF mounts.
