FAQ

  • Q: What power options are supported?
A: Most Desview monitors can be powered 3 ways — DC adapter / USB-C / Sony NP-F (L-Series) batteries — giving you flexibility in the studio and in the field.
  • Q: Which cameras does it work with?
A: Virtually any camera with an HDMI output — DSLRs (Canon EOS / Nikon D-series), mirrorless (Sony Alpha, Canon EOS R, Nikon Z, Fuji X, Panasonic Lumix), cinema cameras and camcorders.
  • Q: What is a LUT for, and how do I upload one?
A: A LUT (Look-Up Table) adjusts the color to match your production's color workflow, e.g. Log-to-Rec.709 or a cinematic preset — upload it via a USB flash drive plugged into the monitor.
  • Q: What's the difference between OLED and IPS?
A: OLED delivers true blacks, infinite contrast and better color accuracy than IPS — at a higher price — making it ideal for color-critical / HDR preview work where color accuracy matters most.
  • Q: What's the difference between the Blade 5 and the Blade 5 Pro?
A: Blade 5 = IPS 600 nits / Blade 5 Pro = OLED 1000 nits HDR — the Pro is color-critical grade and far more accurate, suited to high-end DOPs.
