FAQ

How does it differ from the Arles 35mm?
The 40mm gives a slightly narrower view and suits portrait and lifestyle work better, while the 35mm suits street and documentary.
How good is the bokeh from T1.4 at 40mm?
Very beautiful, because 40mm + T1.4 gives excellent shallow DOF, ideal for portraits that need to separate the subject from the background.
Can it be used with Full Frame?
Yes. It supports Full Frame and Vista Vision with a 46.5mm image circle.
What does the Feet/Meter scale mean?
It shows both of the 2 focus scale systems on one lens, so it works for both Imperial and Metric crews.
