DZOFILM Vespid Prime II 6-Lens Kit T1.9 · Vista Vision Cine MF · PL · Imperial

DZOFILM Vespid Prime II T1.9 Full Frame Vista Vision Cine 6-Lens Kit for PL Mount (Imperial) — Full Frame cine lens kit, 6 focal lengths, T1.9, Cooke /i Metadata support, Focus Throw 300°, imperial (feet) scale

DZOFILM Vespid Prime II 6-Lens Kit is a set of prime lenses for cinema. Every lens is designed to cover Full Frame sensors, so there is no vignetting, and supports Vista Vision. The T1.9 – T22 aperture performs well in low light, with smooth bokeh and attractive shallow depth of field. Aspherical elements reduce chromatic aberration and distortion. A key highlight is Cooke /i Metadata support, which automatically sends focus, aperture and focal length data to the camera, a major help for VFX and post-production. The focus ring rotates 300° for fine, precise control. Standard 0.8 MOD gears work with Follow Focus, Lens Motor and Lens Control System. 80mm front diameter, with a compact, lightweight design at 900–1,100 g, suited to Gimbal, Drone, Handheld and Run-and-Gun. Gear positions and lens length are the same across the series for easy swapping, and color is matched across the series. Focus scale in feet

FAQ

• Q: How is a T-stop different from an F-stop?
A: A T-stop measures the light that actually passes through the lens, accounting for losses from the glass elements and coatings, whereas an F-stop is a theoretical value. Cinema work uses T-stops so exposure matches across every lens in a set.
• Q: Can a PL Mount lens be used on Mirrorless cameras?
A: Yes, via a PL Adapter such as the DZOFILM Octopus Adapter II, which converts to Sony E / Canon RF / Nikon Z / Leica L
• Q: What is Cooke /i Metadata and what is it used for?
A: It is a standard for sending lens data to the camera in real time, including focus distance, aperture and focal length. The data is embedded in the video file, helping VFX teams do Match Move and CG work much faster and more accurately
