The AstrHori MF 10mm F8 Mark II is an exceptionally thin and light APS-C body-cap fisheye. Just 12-16mm thick and 77-130g (depending on mount), it makes your APS-C camera as portable as if it wore only a body cap. It offers a full-frame 180° fisheye view, uses 3 ED elements, and the Mark II adds a 55mm filter thread — a lens for street shooters who value agility.

Key Features

Body-cap design (ultra-slim): the standout feature! The lens is tiny and very thin (approx. 12-16 mm) and weighs only 77g - 130g, so your camera carries as easily as one fitted with a body cap. Ideal for street photography and travel.

180° fisheye view: a field of view up to 180 degrees on APS-C cameras, producing strongly curved, distinctive fisheye images for fresh, creative results.

Fixed F8 aperture: a fixed F8 aperture keeps the design simple and sharp (especially when shooting at the hyperfocal distance), suited to landscapes and wide shots in normal to bright light.

Good optical quality: 5 elements in 4 groups, including 3 ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) elements to reduce chromatic aberration for sharp images with accurate color.

Filter thread: the upgraded Mark II adds a 55mm or 62mm front filter thread (varies by mount), so you can easily use UV, ND or CPL filters.

Q: How does the Mark II differ from the original?
A: The Mark II adds a 55mm filter thread on the front of the lens so you can use ND / CPL / UV filters; the original had no filter thread.

Q: Is a fixed F8 aperture hard to use?
A: Not at all — F8 at 10mm gives a very short hyperfocal distance. Set focus once and everything from ~50cm to infinity is sharp. Very easy to use and ideal for street shooting.

Q: Can it really replace the camera body cap?
A: Yes — it is thin and light enough to use in place of your APS-C camera's body cap, keeping your camera ready to shoot at all times.
