7Artisans MF 75mm F1.25 Mark II Manual Portrait Lens for Leica M — F1.25 Mark II Portrait Lens for Leica M with ED + HR Elements and 12 Aperture Blades

The 7Artisans MF 75mm F1.25 Mark II Leica M is the updated version of the 75mm F1.25 portrait lens. The 75mm focal length is ideal for portraits and keeps facial proportions natural, while the F1.25 aperture creates shallow DOF and soft, creamy bokeh. Upgraded optics with ED 1 + HR 1 elements reduce chromatic aberration, and 12 aperture blades render round bokeh.

Key Features

75mm portrait focal length, perfect for portraiture — keeps facial proportions natural and makes it easy to exclude unwanted elements from the frame
Wide F1.25 aperture creates an extremely thin, beautiful shallow depth of field — a sharp subject against soft, creamy bokeh that separates it from the background with striking depth
Upgraded optics – 1 ED + 1 HR element reduce chromatic aberration for sharper images
12 aperture blades keep bokeh balls beautifully round at every aperture
Focus and aperture rings turn smoothly and precisely (Manual Focus), giving you sharp control over your focus point
Leica M Mount for full native performance, and usable on many other camera systems via adapters
Sturdy, durable yet lightweight metal construction for comfortable handheld shooting, built from quality materials for a premium feel

FAQ

Q: How does the Mark II differ from #42 (Mark I)?
A: The Mark II adds ED + HR elements for less CA and better sharpness, with 12 blades (the original has 13)
Q: Can you focus at F1.25 with a rangefinder?
A: Yes, but it takes skill since the DOF is very thin. We recommend Live View on cameras that have it, such as the Leica M10/M11
Q: Can I use it on mirrorless cameras with an adapter?
A: Yes, via a Leica M → mirrorless adapter. Using your camera's Focus Magnify makes focusing more accurate
