Key Features

An outstanding portrait lens for medium format: 75mm on GFX is equivalent to about 59mm on full frame, an ideal distance for portraits with a natural, flattering perspective
Good optical quality with characterful flare: although it is an affordable manual lens, it delivers excellent center sharpness and produces charming flare when shooting into the light — a favorite among video and street shooters
All-metal build: the lens body and hood are made entirely of high-quality metal for a solid, durable, premium feel, with a smoothly damped focus ring for precise focusing
Designed for 100MP cameras: the 11-element, 8-group optical design is built for high resolution and can fully resolve medium format sensors, especially in the center of the frame
De-clicked aperture ring: the aperture ring turns without clicks (De-Clicked Aperture) for smooth aperture changes while filming, with no noise in your footage

FAQ

Q: What is 75mm on GFX equivalent to?
A: 75mm × 0.79 = ~59mm on full frame — a portrait focal length between 50mm and 85mm, suited to half-body / full-body portraits.
Q: How does it support 100MP?
A: The 11-element, 8-group design delivers center sharpness high enough to resolve the 100MP sensors of the GFX 100 / 100S / 100 II.
Q: What is "characterful flare"?
A: It's a signature of vintage-style lenses — shooting into the light produces cinematic flare rather than sharp, modern flare. Great for filmmaking / weddings.
