Meike AF 35mm F2 Full Frame Autofocus STM Lens — Standard 35mm F2 Full Frame AF Lens, 9 Aperture Blades, 58mm Filter, USB Firmware Updates

The Meike AF 35mm F2 is a Full Frame autofocus lens at 35mm, a versatile focal length with a perspective close to that of the human eye. It suits street, documentary, environmental portraits and everyday photography. The F2 aperture performs well in low light and renders soft background blur. Aperture is controlled electronically from the camera, with no need to turn a ring on the lens, and complete EXIF data is sent back to the camera and recorded in JPEG and RAW files. 9 wide diaphragm blades produce especially round, smooth bokeh. Minimum focus distance is 0.45 m, filter size is 58mm, and a micro USB port allows online firmware upgrades.

FAQ

Q: Does it support Eye AF / Face AF?
A: Yes. As an AF lens it communicates fully with the camera, so Eye AF and Face Detect work as normal.

Q: Can I adjust the aperture on the lens?
A: No. Aperture is controlled electronically from the camera only, which keeps the lens simple and records the value accurately in the EXIF data.

Q: Can I update the firmware myself?
A: Yes. The lens has a micro USB port; connect it to a computer and load the firmware from the Meike website.
