FAQ

Q: Why is an 85mm F1.4 good for portraits?
A: The 85mm focal length gives flattering compression without facial distortion, and F1.4 produces excellent background blur that makes your subject clearly stand out from the background.

Q: How is STM different from regular AF?
A: The STM motor runs quieter and smoother, making it well suited to video where you need AF without noise.

Q: Can I use it on an APS-C camera?
A: Yes, but the field of view narrows by the crop factor; on a Sony APS-C body it is roughly 127mm equivalent.
