The AstrHori MF 28mm F13 2X Macro Probe 90° Full Frame is a full-frame macro probe lens with 90° Periprobe switching, available in 8 mounts including PL cinema. Switch freely between straight-through and 90° viewing while shooting. 28mm focal length, 2X (2:1) magnification, sapphire glass at the tip, a waterproof front section and a built-in LED light — made for filmmakers who work across multiple camera systems.

  • 2-in-1 probe lens: switch freely between Direct View and a 90° right-angle view (Periprobe)
  • Up to 2X (2:1) magnification: render small subjects at up to twice life size
  • 28mm wide angle: macro shots that still capture the background and surrounding environment
  • Aperture range F13 to F40, designed for deep sharpness, very close focusing and backgrounds that retain detail
  • “Probe Lens” design with a long, slim barrel that reaches into tight gaps, under surfaces, into food sets, and suits animal and specialist macro work
  • Built-in LED light: illumination at the lens tip with 10 brightness levels (USB-powered) for shooting in the dark
  • Waterproof front section: roughly 25 cm of the front barrel can be submerged in water or other liquids
  • Manual lens (MF): focus and aperture are set by hand

    A: A mechanism that switches the lens view from straight-through to a 90° right angle — ideal for angles where you can't point the lens straight in, such as shooting a flower from the side.
  • Q: How is it different from #14 (with +360°)?
    A: This version has no 360° rotating base, but supports more mounts (8 vs 5), including PL and Nikon F — and costs about 4,000 baht less.
  • Q: How is it different from #18 (standard Probe)?
    A: This version adds 90° Periprobe switching — #18 offers Direct View only. The price difference is about 1,000 baht.
