Tilta Hydra Alien Mini Car Mounting System for Action Cameras with Hydraulic Damping — car mount for action cameras with hydraulic damping, just 982.5 g, 600 g payload, carrying bag and counterweight included

The Tilta Hydra Alien Mini is a car mounting system for action and pocket cameras. Its hydraulic damping uses automotive-grade damper oil for race-track-level smoothness, and you can top up the oil yourself when needed. The arm is CNC-machined from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminum alloy — strong yet only 982.5 g. A 2-axis adjustable arm gives flexible positioning of the camera and the mounting point on the vehicle, so you can get every angle you want. It supports many popular cameras, including DJI Action 3/4, DJI Osmo Pocket 3, Insta360 X4/X3, GoPro HERO 9–13 and iPhone via the Khronos system. With a 600 g payload, it handles every action and pocket camera in its class. It also works handheld as a stabilizing arm for walking, running or uneven ground (handle sold separately). A soft carrying bag and 220 g counterweight are included.

FAQ

• Q: How is it different from the Hydra Alien Pro?
A: The Mini is designed for action and pocket cameras with a 600 g payload, and is light and portable. The Pro version takes mirrorless and cinema cameras with a gimbal, up to 13 kg.
• Q: Can I really refill the damper oil myself?
A: Yes. It is designed to be topped up as the oil level drops with use, keeping the damping consistent and extending its service life.
• Q: How does it work with an iPhone?
A: Through Tilta's Khronos system, a phone mounting kit that connects to this system. A Khronos mount is required separately.
