The Tilta Mirage Matte Box is a modular matte box designed to be lightweight, ideal for gimbal and drone work where weight and wind resistance matter. It clamps directly onto 95mm cinema lens fronts or uses 67 / 72 / 77 / 82mm adapter rings, and supports both 95mm round filters and 4x5.65 filters, with Stackable Trays for multiple layers. Drop-in filters click in with a single press, faster than screw-in filters, so you can swap them on set without delay. The optional VND module uses a PL+CPL system for accurate color, with Hard Stops at ND 0.3–2.7, and weighs as little as 130 g. It supports variable ND that can be controlled manually or remotely and integrates with the Nucleus system, operable from Nucleus-M or Nucleus Nano. The aerodynamic shape reduces wind resistance, and it can be configured to suit the job.
