Tilta Khronos Universal Smartphone Case Kit with VND Filter and NATO Handles — aluminum smartphone cage for 70–90mm phones with two 360° rotating NATO handles and a magnetic 58mm 1–5 stop VND filter

The Tilta Khronos Universal Smartphone Case Kit is an aluminum smartphone cage kit for mobile videography, fitting phones 70–90 mm wide. It comes with two 360° rotating NATO handles for smooth switching between landscape and portrait — press and hold the rotation button to set any angle — for steady handheld shots and easy high and low angles. The magnetic 58mm VND filter adjusts from 1–5 stops, controlling exposure and shallow depth of field without pushing your shutter speed, and clicks onto the magnetic tray in one move (the Ultimate Kit adds a 62mm threaded tray for third-party screw-in filters). The filter tray adjusts on 3 axes — left-right, up-down and front-back — to align with any phone's lens, and the NATO to ARCA adapter slides onto ARCA tripods or gimbals in seconds. Mounting points surround the cage, including cold shoes, NATO rails and multiple 1/4"-20 threads for LED lights, microphones and monitor arms. The aluminum body has anti-slip grip grooves. The Ultimate Kit adds a built-in cooling fan with 3 modes: Blue 18-27W, Purple 20-27W with adjustable fan speed, and Red 27W Extreme that cools down in just 40 seconds, so you can shoot 4K or long videos without overheating shutdowns — plus a full-featured 10Gbps USB-C hub.

FAQ

• Q: What's the difference between the Creator Kit and the Ultimate Kit?
A: The Ultimate Kit adds a 3-mode cooling fan, a 10Gbps USB-C hub and a 62mm threaded tray for third-party filters. It suits creators who shoot long videos that overheat their phone, or who need to record to an external SSD.
• Q: Is a 1–5 stop VND enough?
A: It is enough for general use. A 1–5 stop range covers everything from indoors to overcast outdoors. In very harsh sunlight you may need additional ND, which can be added via the 62mm threaded tray.
• Q: Which phones are supported?
A: Phones 70–90 mm wide, which covers most smartphones on the market, including large iPhone models. Please measure your phone's width before ordering.
