The Tilta Universal Cooling System is a cooling system for mirrorless cameras, compatible with Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm and Lumix. It tackles overheating that cuts recording mid-take, a common problem during long 4K recording or shooting in direct sun. It uses TEC (semiconductor cooling plate) technology combined with aluminum alloy fins to pull heat out of the camera quickly, reaching temperatures as low as 0°C. There are 3 modes to choose from — Quiet (around 5°C, quiet), Ice-Cool (down to 0°C) and Auto. Auto mode automatically holds the temperature within 20°C ± 3°C, so you don't need to keep adjusting it. A color TFT display shows temperature and operating mode in real time. The fan runs at just 30dB in Quiet mode, suitable for shoots that record sound on set. One-press latch mounting makes it easy to attach and remove, for fast tool-free camera swaps. Power options are flexible: USB-C PD, V-Mount battery or a magnetic power supply (in the Power Kit).
