Peak Design Capture v3 – Clip Your Camera to a Backpack Strap, Belt or Bag and Grab It in One Click

Peak Design Capture v3 is an aluminum clip that holds your camera securely on a backpack strap, belt or bag strap. The camera does not swing while you hike, cycle or work in the studio, and a press of the button releases it so you can shoot right away. The third generation is smaller, lighter and smoother than the previous model, and comes with a Standard Plate that fits Arca-Type tripods.

FAQ

• Q: Can it hold a heavy camera?
A: Yes. The clip is rated for forces up to 200 lb and easily handles a full-frame camera with a lens. We recommend mounting it on a thick, sturdy strap so the strap does not sag.
• Q: Can I use the plate from my Capture v2?
A: Yes. The v3 clip works with all Peak Design plates except the DUALplate v1, but the new Standard Plate does not work with v1/v2 clips.
• Q: Can it go straight onto a tripod?
A: Yes. If the tripod head uses the Arca-Type system, you can slide the plate in right away without removing it from the camera.
